Cardiovascular

Mind & Nervous System natural medicine Cambridge

Thierry’s core speciality is in clinical homeopathy. This branch of homeopathy puts a strong emphasis on the importance of nutrition. Poor nutritional habits and dietary misconceptions can affect the body’s ability to nourish and repair the cardiovascular system.

General nutritional suggestions for the cardiovascular system

– Eat plenty of fresh vegetables They should make up 60 to 80% of your daily food intake in volume (for an adult). The best types of vegetables are the seasonal, locals ones, especially the green leafy vegetables like cabbage, kale, salad or spinach, as they are high in calcium, magnesium and potassium.
– Eat nuts and seeds.
– Avoid fried food & any man-made fat such as margarine, trans fat or hydrogenated oil.
– Do not add any salt to your food or eat any food with added salt.
– Reduce your intake of sugar, especially white and artificial sugar
– Include a 30 minute moderate daily exercise such as a walk outside.

– Manage your stress: do some daily relaxation exercises. The Relaxation section has an excellent exercise designed by Indian doctors for people suffering from hypertension.
