Here is a very useful document showing a comparative study on the side-effects and effectiveness of a Homeopathic Prophylaxis for the Flu called PolyInfluenzinum and the Standard Conventional Vaccine.
It was performed in the Netherlands in 2012.

It is worth noting that there was a protection from the homeopathic product against the flu, as good or better than the vaccines. More important, no one taking polyinfluenzinum, the homeopathic support had reaction or felt severe problems on this homeopathic medication.
