Feel free to bring back any re-usable or recyclable item. This can be done at a consultation but you can also leave any items anytime in a bag in front of the clinic reception door.
Every year, we are working to make our personal and business’ ecological footprint lower. Reviewing our current situation and what we can do better is important because, many things we are told to do are actually not effective. For instance 90% of plastic put in the recycling bins are actually not worth recycling (mainly due to poor packaging practice) In permaculture and natural health philosophies , the best practice is to support and re-use what we have, and when not possible, then use natural products, and reduce hard-to-recycle products (usually processed ones).
For this reason, I organise a return & re-use voluntary system for the products, I provide so that they can be safely cleaned and re-used.
After some research:
– We are planning to use products that can be more or less indefinitely re-used as it is better than recycling into a new product.
– We will spend more times so that products are cleaned and sanitised so that the prescriptions are still 100% safe.
– We will reduce the use of new products, especially the one hard to recycle.
– If these are not possible, then the use of products that can be recycled will be favoured.
Here is what you can do with your prescription (you are welcome to opt out of this process):
